Get Help Salvation Army Services
Last year, The Salvation Army provided over 68,000 bed nights of shelter in El Paso County.
As long as there's The Salvation Army, there's no such thing as "no place to go."
The Salvation Army Family Services, Feeding Services, Sheltering and Supportive Housing, and Emergency Assistance services are available to people of all ages. In addition to addressing the immediate symptoms of food insecurity, poverty, and homelessness, our programs are designed to help identify and treat its root cause. This approach focuses on meeting the physical, mental and spiritual needs of each person and helps move many from hungry to fully healed.

SSVF is designed to rapidly re-house and serve Veteran families experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. SSVF is different from other Veteran programs because it provides assistance to the entire family, not just the Veteran. SSVF offers a broad range of services to address housing barriers and to sustain Veteran families once housing is addressed. Eligible participants include single Veterans or families/households that include an honorably discharged Veteran.
